The following month, long time Walt Disney Animation Studios president Ed Catmull was announced to have joined Nelvana Movies to develop and produce an original animated film for the studio. Robert L. Baird and Andrew Millstein, who previously served as Nelvana's Head of Production, was promoted to the position of president at Nelvana Movies.
