Nemo Schiffman (born 21 April 2000) is a French actor and singer.[1][2]

Biography[edit]

Schiffman is the son of actress and director Emmanuelle Bercot and cinematographer Guillaume Schiffman. He is the grandson of Suzanne Schiffman, and the nephew of actor Mathieu Schiffman.

His first film was On My Way (originally Elle s'en va), which was released in 2013.[3] The film was directed by his mother, Emmanuelle Bercot. He also starred in Promise at Dawn (originally La promesse de l'aube; released 2017),[4] and The Emperor of Paris (originally L'Empereur de Paris; released 2018).[5] He has also appeared in TV series including Mortel (2019) and Trepalium (2016).

In 2014, at the age of 14, he participated in the first season of the reality talent show The Voice Kids, where he sang Calling You, by Jevetta Steele. He came second in the show's rankings, behind Carla.[6] He released his first album, Omen, in March 2018.[7]

In 2014, he was nominated for Most Promising Actor at the 39th César Awards.[8]
