Nepali Patro (Nepali: नेपाली पात्रो).[1] is a Nepali calendar software and mobile application based on traditional Lunar and Bikram Sambat Calendar. It was publicly released through Facebook in 2007 [citation needed]. Nepali Patro was deployed as a website for the users' convenience in the year 2008 [citation needed]. Later on, it was released for Android app in Google Play Store in the year 2011 [2]. It has been downloaded more than 5 million times as of June 2020 [3]. In the year 2018, Nepali Patro App was merged with Genius Systems Pvt Ltd[4]
Features
Nepali Patro App shows a calendar based on Bikram Sambat or Bikram Samwat[5] and Gregorian Calendar including Tithi[6] and daily Panchanga[7]. It also enables users to view Rashifal i.e. daily horoscope, latest breaking news, foreign exchange and more. Creating one's personal calendar and syncing across platforms is also included in the Nepal Patro App [8][9][10]
