History
2009–2013: Foundation and early growth NETIS was founded in 2009 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, by Jean Farhat and Jean-Claude Figali. Initially focused on telecom equipment and service provision, the company expanded to Ghana and Burkina Faso during its first years of operation.[6]
2014–2018: Regional expansion Between 2014 and 2018, NETIS extended its activities to Benin, Uganda, Togo, Gabon, and Rwanda. It established NETIS Holdings in Mauritius and launched “DRONE by NETIS” for infrastructure inspection. In 2018, the investment fund Enko Capital acquired a minority interest to support further expansion.[7]

2023–2024: Strategic investment In November 2023, a consortium of investors including Amethis, AfricInvest, Proparco, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) acquired a majority stake in NETIS Holding, marking the exit of Enko Capital.[9][10][11] The group subsequently opened a subsidiary in Cameroon in 2024.[12]
