Netri-the Leader (Bengali: নেত্রী-দ্য লিডার) is an upcoming Bengali-language action film produced jointly by Bangladesh and Turkey. The film will be directed by Ananta Jalil and Upendra Madhav and produced by Monsoon Films in Bangladesh and Yapm 1958 Films in Turkey. The film was officially announced at Hotel La Meridian in Dhaka on February 27, 2021.[1][2][3][4]
Plot[edit]
The story of the film is about a section in Bangladesh. The story will begin with a political leader, his daughter being led by the party with the consent of his party after he dies. Then there will be stories surrounding him which will show the story of an ordinary girl becoming the leader.[5][6]

Production[edit]
Ananta Jalil announced the making of the film in early 2021 on his Facebook page.[8] Shortly thereafter, an agreement was signed with Turkey's Ertugrul Sakar, Bural Yan, Isra Sengunapal, South India Ravi Kishan, Pradeep Rawat and Kabir Dohan Singh and Iranian actor Amir Hossain for the making of the film.[9] An agreement has been signed with south Indian director Upendra Madhav and a Turkish director to direct the film.[5]
The film has started filming in Dhaka on February 28.[10][11] 95% of the filming will be held in Turkey and the rest in Bangladesh and India.[10][12]
