New Camerata Opera
New Camerata Opera (NCO) is a non-profit[1], Manhattan based opera company. It was co-founded in 2016 by Erik Bagger, Victor Khodadad, Stan Lacy, Alexandra Lang, Scott Lindroth, Eva Parr, Barbara Porto, and Julia Tang. The company is a member of the New York Opera Alliance. [2]
The company performs at least two operas a year as well as various performances at venues throughout New York City.[3] It is comprised of three distinct branches: Mainstage Productions, Camerata Piccola, and CamerataWorks. In the 2018-2019 season, NCO performed three operas at The Flea Theater as an anchor partner. [4]

Camerata Piccola
Camerata Piccola performs operas that are arranged for children at locations throughout the five boroughs of Manhattan. It presents operas in English designed specifically for students ages 2-16. The company's children's operas include Peter Rabbit, Rumpelstiltskin, Wrecked in the Ruin, and Party at the Opera.
CamerataWorks
NCO’s online film studio, CamerataWorks, commissions operas and broadcasts them online. Its projects include The Ives Project and The Prince von Pappenschmear.
