New Camerata Opera
New Camerata Opera (NCO) is a non-profit[1], Manhattan based opera company. It was co-founded in 2016 by Erik Bagger, Victor Khodadad, Stan Lacy, Alexandra Lang, Scott Lindroth, Eva Parr, Barbara Porto, and Julia Tang. The company is a member of the New York Opera Alliance. [2]
The company performs at least two operas a year as well as various performances at venues throughout New York City.[3] It is comprised of three distinct branches; Mainstage Productions, Camerata Piccola, and CamerataWorks. In the 2018-2019 season, NCO performed three operas at The Flea Theater as an anchor partner. [4]

Camerata Piccola[edit]
Camerata Piccola performes operas that are arranged for children at locations throughout the five boroughs of Manhattan. It presents operas in English designed specifically for students ages 2-16. The company's children's operas include Peter Rabbit, Rumpelstiltskin, Wrecked in the Ruin, and Party at the Opera.
CamerataWorks[edit]
NCO’s online film studio, CamerataWorks, commissions operas and broadcasts them online. Its projects include The Ives Projectand The Prince von Pappenschmear.
