New Light Helicopter (NLH)[citation needed] is the programme to procure a new light twin-engine helicopter to replace the Aérospatiale Gazelle AH1 helicopter. It is expected the 34 new aircraft will enter service during the mid-2020s.[1][2][unreliable source?]
