New Media Vision commonly referred to as NMV, is a London-based production, distribution, and consulting company.

History[edit]

NMV was formed in 2009 by CEO Todd Lituchy and registered under the name New Media Vision Trading Ltd, as a media consulting firm.[1] NMV's clients include Discovery Networks International, BBC Worldwide, Walt Disney Studios, A&E Networks, Nickelodeon, and Lionsgate.

The company has since expanded as an international producer and distributor. NMV has co-productions with Discovery International, NBC[2] and ABC.[3]

On 15 October 2015, it was announced that ABC ordered a pilot script based on Spanish format Motivos Personales after acquiring the rights from NMV.[4]

Zoltan The Wolf Man[edit]

Zoltan The Wolf Man is a factual adventure documentary series featuring animal trainer Zoltan Horkai. The series, commissioned by Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.[5]

In 2016, Channel 5 in the UK has acquired the UK rights for Zoltan the Wolf Man which will air on the UK version of SPIKE, which C5 parent company Viacom International Media Networks controls.[6]

Los misterios de Laura[edit]

NMV secured the rights for the Spanish format, Los misterios de Laura, originally produced by Grupo Boomerang for TVE Spain.[7] New Media Vision CEO Todd Lituchy brought the scripted format to the U.S.[8] Lituchy is an Executive Producer on the American version of the series: The Mysteries of Laura.[2]

NMV has since formed an ongoing relationship with Grupo Boomerang, representing other popular formats such as Luci, and most recently Motivos Personales.[9]

In 2014, NMV secured the format rights for another Boomerang TV show Motivos personales. Motivos Personales was created by Carlos Vila and Javier Holgado for Telecinco Spain.[10]

In October 2015, ABC sealed a deal with NMV and Ellen Pompeo's Calamity Jane Productions to develop the Spanish drama remake.[11][4]
