The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization[1] established in 1970 as the nonprofit owner of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. [2] According to its mission statement, the Foundation "promotes, preserves, perpetuates, and encourages the music, culture, and heritage of communities in Louisiana through festivals, programs, and other cultural, educational, civic, and economic activities.” [3]
