New Paradigm Films is a Norwegian-based film production company focusing on new science, spirituality, health, and paranormal phenomena. The company gained worldwide attention in early October 2010 when it released its UFO documentary The Day Before Disclosure to the public through free online streaming.[1]
History
New Paradigm Films was founded in 2006 by Terje Toftenes, a Norwegian filmmaker and producer of commercial and educational films for the Norwegian government and industry. Toftenes had already had success on the alternative film scene with his 2005 double EBE award-winning[2] documentary on the crop circle phenomenon, Crossovers from Another Dimension. Toftenes' first film under the New Paradigm Films label was a documentary on the light phenomenon of Hessdalen Valley in Norway, followed by 2010's take on the global UFO phenomenon, The Day Before Disclosure.
Free Film Streaming
On Sunday, October 3, 2010, New Paradigm Films made headlines throughout the global online UFO community when they released their 1 hour 40 min documentary, The Day Before Disclosure, for free streaming on their website.[1] The company stated that "Our goal is to produce groundbreaking film presentations that will contribute to the evolution of our common view on reality," and that "Knowledge is power, and we believe knowledge should be free."[3] The website containing the free screening had more than 150,000 hits the first week.[4]
