NextShoot is a video production and branding service base in London.
History[edit]
NextShoot was founded in 2009 by veteran film producers Dominic Sutherland, a former BBC producer-director, with video content management expert, Mike MacNamara. The company is a Brightcove partner,[1] and both of its founders have been cited as experts in numerous areas of film and media production.[2][3]
Video for SMEs[edit]
In 2009-2010, NextShoot created 8,200 videos for Yell.com's new video channel in seven months, using over 300 filmmakers across the UK working in partnership with the Local Data Company.[4]
Videos for Brands and Organisations[edit]
Since 2010, NextShoot has focused on creating video content and stills for brands and organisations, with clients that include HarperCollins, Barclays, IBM, Argos, John Lewis, Mitel, Bloomberg, World Bank Group, Jaguar Land Rover, Arup Group, CBRE Group, Mondelez International, and Pfizer.
Arts & Culture[edit]
NextShoot has worked with many cultural organisations and museums. In 2018, they produced online content for the National Gallery’s ‘Courtauld Impressionists: From Manet to Cezanne’[5] exhibition, and in 2019 they created the exhibition film for the National Gallery’s ‘Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light’ exhibition.[6]
They have also produced films about renowned contemporary artists Christo and Olafur Eliasson. In 2016, the company was hired to document the Museum of London Archaeology's preservation and translation of a trove of hand-written Roman era tablets.[7]
NextShoot has also produced a series of educational videos for the Royal Shakespeare Company's Learning Zone, helping primary and secondary school students understand the works of William Shakespeare.[8]
