Nexthink is a private software company focused on digital employee experience (DEX) management software.[1] It was founded in 2004 in Lausanne, Switzerland by Pedro Bados (CEO), Patrick Hertzog, and Vincent Bieri. The company has nine offices worldwide, including dual headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland and Boston, Massachusetts.[2][3]

History[edit]

Nexthink was founded in 2004.[4] Two years later, the company submitted two patents: one for artificial intelligence of anomalous behaviors, and one for real-time visualization of end-user behavior.[5] The company's digital employee experience (DEX) management software provides real-time insight into employee utilization of and experience with company devices and applications.[6]

Products[edit]

In February 2021, Nexthink announced $180 million in series D funding.[7][8] This brought the company's valuation to 1.1 billion.[9] Nexthink’s DEX platfom[10] installs an agent called a Collector on company devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.[11][12] If the software identifies a potential problem, it can make a suggestion for resolution directly to the employee or send the info to an IT team using PowerShell scripts.[13]

The company also offers a Remote Worker product and an Experience Optimization platform for support teams.[14]
