Neynar
Not to be confused with Neymar, the Brazilian footballer.
Neynar is a software company that builds infrastructure for the web3 social platform Farcaster.[1] by providing tools that allow developers to ingest and use data from Farcaster for their applications[2].
History and Funding
Neynar was founded in 2023 by Rishav "Rish" Mukherji[3] and Manan Patel. The company started by operating a managed Farcaster hub, which allows developers to build on Farcaster without running their own hub[4][5].
In May 2024, Neynar announced it had raised an $11 million Series A round led by Haun Ventures and Union Square Ventures, with participation from a16z CSX and Coinbase Ventures[6]
