Nicholas Ryan Ingram (born February 11, 1989) is an American creative professional, web designer, and jeweler. He is the founder of creative agency Black Mansion Design Studio, and provides creative consulting around the United States.[1] As a member of Boise Metro Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Council, Nicholas advises and empowers Boise small business owners with creative consulting[2][3]
Early Life
Nicholas Ryan Ingram was born on February 11, 1989, in Madison, Wisconsin[4]. His grandfather, Cecil D. Ingram, was a Senator in the Idaho State Legislature.[5] His other grandfather, Kent Hadley, was a major league baseball player, playing for both the Kansas City Athletics and the New York Yankees.[6] Raised in Idaho, Ingram attended Fairmont Jr. High School and Capital High School in Boise, where he studied arts and architecture.[1]
Career
Finest Jewelry
After High School, Ingram decided to embark on several businesses, with the first being Finest Jewelry. The jewelry company was run entirely from Ingram's Instagram account and sold on his Shopify website Wearethefinest.com. The company started its operation in Boise, Idaho, and was relocated to Los Angeles, California. Ingram quickly found himself amongst celebrities in Los Angeles such as A$AP Rocky, Andy Dick, Matthew Espinosa, Nash Grier, and Dillon Rupp.[7]
Black Mansion Design Studio
Black Mansion Design Studio was founded by Ingram on January 12, 2020. The launch of Black Mansion Design Studio has sparked an exciting energy throughout the small city of Boise, Idaho. Through professional creative consulting, Nicholas Ingram has caught the attention of local advertising and creative agencies.[1]
Personal Life
Ingram attributes his design aesthetic and his approach to business to the color black. In a recent interview with the California Herald, Ingram said, "I want to see myself recognized as a successful leader and designer in the contemporary creative world. My dream is to grow my agency into one of the most prolific and exciting agencies in Boise, ID, and potentially the Northwest. In the future, I want to continue elevating our services to cater towards a better-looking future."[1]
