Nick Weiler-Babb (born June 27, 1995) is an American college basketball player with the Iowa State Cyclones.

Early life and high school career[edit]

Babb grew up in Arlington, Texas attending James Martin High School. He is younger brother to former Iowa State basketball player and current NBA player, Chris Babb. Nick is a combination guard that is much more athletic than he looks. He is more of a shooting guard, but his handling skills and high basketball IQ allow him to play point when needed.[1] Babb is able to score off the bounce, get to the rim, and hit the three. He sees the floor very well and sets the tone on defense with his energy, urgency, and effort. Babb played on the Texas Select AAU team.[2]

Recruitment[edit]

Nick was recruited by several power five schools including Creighton, Gonzaga, and Iowa. He ultimately committed to play for Mike Anderson at Arkansas.
