Nick Flocos was born on July 2, 1999, in Fairfax, Virginia. His parents are George, an optometrist, and Farimah, a real estate agent. He is the grandson of the author, Nicholas G Flokos. He grew up in the Washington, D.C., suburb of McLean, Virginia. Nick was raised in a mixed Greek-Persian household.[1]
Early life
Nicholas Jonathan "Nick" Flocos is an American entrepreneur who works for Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor. He is the owner of Alloy Capital LLC and NickTeaser LLC, a sports analytics company. He is a renowned sports journalist and handicapper. Nick founded his first company, hotelmatcher.com, in 2012, when he was 13 years old. He has founded numerous companies, like DMVRank, a local marketing firm in the Washington, D.C., area.
According to a MarketWatch writer, Nick has not had the best of luck staying healthy while playing baseball. His UCL and rotator cuff were torn. In his senior year, he suffered ACL and meniscus tears. He was able to acquire knowledge for his sports analytics company while sitting out on the sidelines.
He went to the University of Florida for his bachelor’s degree and the University of Maryland for his Master’s in Business Administration.
Entrepreneur--Early Years
Nick began creating small companies in middle school at the age of 13. His first venture was hotematcher.com, a hotel price comparison service that aggregates all hotel prices on the web.
After graduating from high school, Nick founded DMVRank, LLC, a digital marketing agency, to improve businesses' search engine rankings. DMVRank's primary objective is to facilitate the effective and consistent expansion of businesses, with expertise in Search Engine Optimization, Website Design, Marketing, and Branding.
Nick has focused on his sports handicapping business, NickTeaser, for the past few years. He is well-known on social media as a handicapper. NickTeaser has his own method for betting; utilizing sports analytics and cross-referencing value for each game, as well as his expertise; he is able to achieve exceptional results. With the legalization of sports betting, his sports analytics company has flourished and made him a name in the world of sports betting.
Nick is a Financial Solutions Advisor for Merrill Lynch / Bank of America at the present time.
