Nikhil Rao mononymously knows as his stage name Nick Joong (born August 9, 2000) is an Indian pop singer, songwriter and a record producer. He joined S.M Entertainment in 2016 through S.M Auditions
Early life[edit]
Nick was born on August 9, 2000 in Warangal, India. He has a brother named Sai Kiran who is two years younger than him. Nick began training to be a singer when he was 13 years old, influenced by South Korean Boy Band SS501. He attended St. Gabriel's High School in Warangal, In addition to musical activities.
Nick was spotted by an S.M. Entertainment agent while he was studying for the entrance exams. He later joined S.M. Entertainment in 2016 through the S.M. Casting System.

2016–20: training and career beginnings[edit]
Nick was officially revealed to be S.M. Rookie in 2016. But Nick Decided to go as a solo artist and officially debuted on December 2020 he even gained significant popularity.
2018–present:[edit]
on october 2018, Nick Joong made his small song produce debut in spider-man into the verse movie where sunflower song has gained popularity singed by Post Malone and Swae_Lee he have produced many songs for Exo_(band) with LDN NOISE. Nick Began to work from his hometown to show his side of melodic music where he hopes that his music will move your soul and make you dance.
In 2023 Nick released his long awaited single She Knows featuring Dreaming of cali a pop duo group taking its success to the top Digital charts on Spotify India. The song Quickly got nominated for best new pop category on AMA Awards (Awardio Music Awards).
