Nicholas J. LaLota (born 1978/1979)[1] is an American politician and businessman from the state of New York.
LaLota previously served as chief of staff to Suffolk County Presiding Officer Kevin McCaffrey. He also served on the Suffolk Board of Elections as well as a trustee for the village of Amityville, New York.[2] A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, LaLota also holds MBA and Juris Doctor degrees from Hofstra University.[1]
LaLota is running for the United States House of Representatives in New York's 1st congressional district to succeed Lee Zeldin in the 2022 elections, who is running for Governor of New York..[3]
