From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Nick Pourgourides (born December 1978) is a British author, speaker and entertainment publicist. In his role as manager of the estate of the late actor Kenneth More, he has written for national press including The Oldie.[1], and The Lady magazine, as well as appearing on national broadcast media including Talking Pictures TV[2], BBC Radio 4[3], Talk Radio, and BBC Radio London[4]. Antonia Quirke interviewed Pourgourides twice for The Film Programme, both in 2018[5] and 2020[6].

As Estate Manager, Pourgourides has been instrumental in reinvigorating the actor's name and image, which had fallen into obscurity since More's death in 1982. With approval from More's family; wife Angela Douglas and children, Jane and Sarah, the official website was created and launched in 2018 to coincide with the birth of the actor. The main priority of the estate is in re-educating the public of the important part Kenneth More played in the British entertainment industry from the 1950s through to the 1970s.

In 2019, in collaboration with Talking Pictures TV, Pourgourides, helped to create and promote the first Kenneth More Day[2], marking the actor's death on 12 July.[7] a A memorial plaque for More was also unveiled in London's West End at the Duchess Theatre[8]. The theatre was the site of More's acclaimed performance as Freddie Page in a production of Terence Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea. Pourgourides also helped to have More posthumously awarded a Celebrity Ambassador for Variety, the Children's Charity[9]. A cause close to More's heart during his lifetime, Pourgourides on behalf the estate has already managed to raise considerable funds for the charity[10]

In 2020, Pourgourides' received critical acclaim[11] [12]for publishing the first authorized biography of the late British actor Kenneth More[13]. More, Please was created from hundreds of hours of research of newspaper cuttings, letters, personal papers and contracts. Pourgourides also conducted exclusive interviews with More's family, friends and colleagues. The book also includes exclusive excerpts from More's final autobiography, More or Less.

Stephen Fry called the book "informative and deeply touching" whilst Joanna Lumley said it was "a huge treat" to read. The book's publication was covered in national and regional media and a portion of the proceeds went to charity.[14][15] [16][17] [18]

An updated edition of More, Please is currently in the works and is slated for publication in 2022, marking the 40th anniversary since More's passing.[19]
