Nico Gross (born January 26, 2000) is a Swiss professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the EVZ Academy of the National League B (NLB) as a prospect to the EV Zug of the National League A (NLA). He'll be eligible for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.[1]
Playing career[edit]
Gross made his professional debut during the 2016-17 season for the newly-created, EVZ Academy of the NLB. He eventually played 33 regular season games this season, tallying 9 assists.
International play[edit]
Gross was selected to play with the Swiss U18 national team at the 2016 IIHF World U18 Championships. He appeared in the team's 5 games scoring no point.
In December 2016, Gross was selected to play with the Swiss U20 national team at the 2017 World Junior Championships. He tallied 1 assist in 5 games.
