Pakistani history[edit]

Up to 120 Roman ships set sail each year from Myos Hormos (Al-Qusayr) in Roman Egypt to Indus Valley.[2] In the same period, Indus/Sindhu people dhows frequented East African shores selling Indian handloom products, spices and other goods. Archaeological evidence recently found in Egypt shows that Indian/Sindhu merchants that traded with the Mediterranean region. Vessels from Myos Hormos traded with Africa, Arabia, and Ancient India, i.e. (Pakistan).[3] Some of its main destinations was the Indus delta. This exhibits the extent of Indus-Africa relations at that time respectively.
