Nikos Vlachoulis (Greek: Γιάννης Αλεξούλης; born 17 December 1956) is a Greek former professional football player who played as a defender.
Career
Club
Vlachoulis started his career in the youth section of Panserraikos and then Larissa, and he made his debut for the first team on 11 January 1976 against Pandramaikos in Beta Ethniki.[1]
He later joined Niki Volos in Beta Ethniki. Then he moved to Toxotis Larissa and ended his career with Diogenis FC.
International
Vlachoulis was a Greek international for youth teams of Greece, getting his first call-up in 1976.
Managerial career
He started his career in 1989 from Iraklis Larissa F.C. leading his team to EPSL Cup glory in 1990. He then coached Ampelokipoi Larissa F.C., AOK Nees Karyes (95-97), Apollon Larissa (97), AO Trikala. In mid-season 98-99 he coached AE Larissa in Beta Ethniki with Nikos Argyroulis and then again in 2000-01. He then took over AO Trikala, Toxotis Larissa, Achilleas Farsala, Poseidon Neoi Poroi, Ampeloniakos (05-06), Dotieas Agia (08-09, fired mid-season). Later he was in charge of Apollon Larisa academy 08-10, Youth AEL 10-13, Nees Karyes 13-15, Iraklis Larissa 15-17 (with Nikos Argyroulis), Neapoli 15-19, and Diogenis Academy 18-present.
