Nimrod de Rosario

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Luis Felipe Cires Moyano Roca (28 October 1946 — 7 May 1996), better known as Nimrod de Rosario, was an Argentine esotericist and writer. He called the system of gnostic philosophy presented in his works "Hyperborean Wisdom."[1] He was the founder of an esoteric order known as the Orden de Caballeros Tirodal de la República Argentina (OCTRA). Moyano's most notable works are The Mystery of Belicena Villca and the Foundations of Hyperborean Wisdom.[2]

Moyano was influenced considerably by the work of the Colombian gnostic Samael Aun Weor and in turn influenced his fellow Latin American, Miguel Serrano. While there are some references to National Socialism in his writings, Moyano was not as explicitly or centrally identified with such themes as the more notorious Serrano. However, Moyano was still controversial enough that his meetings with Carlos Menem, a Peronist who was President of Argentina during the 1990s, still caused a stir.
