Nino Chxeidze (born October 25, 1984, in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Georgian singer and songwriter who debuted with her first album in 2006. Nino Chxeidze's repertoire consists of city folklore, ethno and pop-music elements.

Biography

Nino Chxeidze was born 1981, June 6, in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia. Her first song was โ€žแƒฉแƒ”แƒ›แƒ˜ แƒ’แƒฃแƒšแƒ˜ แƒจแƒ”แƒœแƒ˜แƒโ€œ ("Chemi guli shenia") written by แƒ›แƒแƒชแƒแƒชแƒ แƒกแƒ”แƒคแƒ˜แƒกแƒ™แƒ•แƒ”แƒ แƒแƒซแƒ”(matsatso sefiskveradze). In 2005, Nino Chxeidze started recording popular Georgian folklore songs. One of her first most popular songs were โ€žแƒฉแƒ”แƒ›แƒ˜ แƒ’แƒ›แƒ˜แƒ แƒ˜ แƒ’แƒ˜แƒฌแƒแƒ“แƒ”โ€œ ("chemi gmiri gitsode") and โ€žแƒฌแƒแƒฆแƒ•แƒ”แƒ แƒ˜ แƒ“แƒ แƒ—แƒ‘แƒ˜แƒšแƒ˜แƒกแƒ˜ โ€œ both by แƒ›แƒแƒ แƒ”แƒฎ แƒ’แƒแƒซแƒ˜แƒแƒจแƒ•แƒ˜แƒšแƒ˜(marekh goziashvili).[2] [3]

In 2006, Nino Chxeidze's first album was released, which consisted of 12 old classical Georgian songs. In 2007, her second album with the title "แƒฃแƒจแƒ”แƒœแƒแƒ“"("ushenod") was released. Later on, she made her first official music video on song with the same title "ushenod" which was directed by Beso Solomonashvili and zviad alkhanaidze. In 2008, there were 2 new albums with the titles โ€žแƒ•แƒ˜แƒชแƒ˜ แƒ’แƒ˜แƒงแƒ•แƒแƒ แƒ•แƒแƒ โ€œ ("vitsi gikvarvar") and โ€žแƒกแƒแƒฃแƒ™แƒ”แƒ—แƒ”แƒกแƒ แƒกแƒ˜แƒ›แƒฆแƒ”แƒ แƒ”แƒ‘แƒ˜แƒก แƒ™แƒ แƒ”แƒ‘แƒฃแƒšแƒ˜โ€œ ("collection of best songs"). In 2008, she also recorded 2 new official music videos with the titles โ€žแƒกแƒแƒœแƒ—แƒ”แƒšแƒ˜แƒ•แƒ˜แƒ— แƒ“แƒแƒ•แƒ“แƒœแƒ”แƒ‘แƒ˜โ€œ ("santelivit davdnebi") and โ€žแƒ•แƒ˜แƒชแƒ˜ แƒ’แƒ˜แƒงแƒ•แƒแƒ แƒ•แƒแƒ โ€œ ("vici gikvarvar") which were directed by Ramaz Chachanidze. In 2008, she also opened her own voice recording studio with the name "Nio Studio". In 2009, she released 2 new albums with the titles โ€ž5โ€œ and โ€žkaraokeโ€œ.[3] In 2010, the album โ€žแƒ’แƒแƒ›แƒแƒฎแƒแƒ แƒ”โ€œ(gamakhare) was released. In 2011, the album โ€žแƒ›แƒ˜แƒงแƒ•แƒแƒ แƒฎแƒแƒ  แƒชแƒแƒ›แƒ“แƒ”โ€œ ("tsamde mikvarkhar") was released. In 2011, she recorded a new music video with แƒ™แƒแƒ‘แƒฃ in duet with the title โ€žแƒ›แƒ˜แƒงแƒ•แƒแƒ แƒฎแƒแƒ  แƒชแƒแƒ›แƒ“แƒ”โ€œ ("mikvarkhar tsamde") which was directed by Zura Menteshashvili. In 2012, she was invited by โ€ž Imedi TV โ€œ as one of the judges in the mega-project โ€žThe Voice Of Georgiaโ€œ. In 2013, the album โ€žแƒœแƒ˜แƒœแƒ แƒฉแƒฎแƒ”แƒ˜แƒซแƒ”โ€œ(Nino Chxeidze) was released. From 2014-2017, Nino Chxeidze was the author of the musical TV project แƒกแƒแƒฅแƒแƒ แƒ—แƒ•แƒ”แƒšแƒแƒก แƒคแƒแƒœแƒแƒฆแƒ˜. In 2015, the album โ€žแƒœแƒ˜แƒœแƒ แƒฉแƒฎแƒ”แƒ˜แƒซแƒ” mp3โ€œ ("Nino Chxeidze mp3") was released, which consisted of her all time best songs. In 2015, the album โ€žแƒœแƒ˜แƒœแƒ แƒฉแƒฎแƒ”แƒ˜แƒซแƒ” แƒ“แƒฃแƒ”แƒขแƒ”แƒ‘แƒ˜โ€œ (Nino Chxeidze duets") which consisted of duet songs, was released. In 2016, the album โ€žแƒงแƒ•แƒ”แƒšแƒแƒคแƒ”แƒ แƒ˜ แƒฎแƒ“แƒ”แƒ‘แƒโ€œ ("kvelaferi khdeba") was released. In 2016, she established her own brand with the name "NIO" and she is manufacturing her own designed hats. In 2017, the album โ€žแƒœแƒ˜แƒœแƒ แƒฉแƒฎแƒ”แƒ˜แƒซแƒ”โ€œ ("Nino Chxeidze") was released. In 2018, she participated in the TV project โ€žแƒชแƒ”แƒ™แƒ•แƒแƒ•แƒ”แƒœ แƒ•แƒแƒ แƒกแƒ™แƒ•แƒšแƒแƒ•แƒ”แƒ‘แƒ˜โ€œ. In 2018, she formed her own musical band with the name "NIO band" .[3]

She has a husband, George Korakhashvili, and a daughter, Mariam Korakhashvili.[2] [3]
