Writer, Illustrator and painter Nis Jessen was born in Denmark on July 5, 1935.

The author of detective stories and a couple of history books about the Indians and coffee. One of his great interests is sculpture. In 1974 in Bornholm he opened his studio and gallery.

Biography

As an artist, he made his debut in 1952, showing his work in an exhibition.

In 2007, Jessen received a diploma from the Danish literary critics as a special certificate of honor: "Det Danske Kriminalakademi" (Danish Criminal Academy).

Nis Jessen is a member of the Danish BSI (Danish Sherlock Holmes Club).
