Nishant Pitti is an Indian businessman who is also co-founder and CEO of EaseMyTrip, a leading online travel company in India. He is also a film producer.[1] who is associated with films like Madaari, Fanney Khan, Manikarnika and more.
Personal Life
Nishant belongs to a Marwari family hailing from Nagaur, Rajasthan, but he was born and brought up in Delhi. He completed his schooling from Vivekanand School, New Delhi. He is a commerce graduate from Delhi University. He completed his B.com in 2007. Before founding his company, he gained experience in the tourism industry by running an independent travel agency. His father is a businessman, while his mother is also one of the board members of EaseMyTrip. His elder brother Prashant Pitti is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Madras and founder of several start-ups like NearGroup[2]
Career
He entered the travel business when he was in his second year of graduation [3]. He founded his company in 2008 with his younger brother Rikant Pitti.[4] He also served as the honorable secretary of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) from 2012 to 2014 and joined Bollywood as a producer in 2014. [5] and produced films like Madaari, Freaky Ali, Fanney Khan, Guest Iin London and more. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is his upcoming project [6]. He is also producing a film with Karan Kapadia, who is the cousin of Twinkle Khanna.[7]
