Njål Eide was a prominent designer of cruise ships. During his career, he introduced many revolutionary design concepts for several cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean International where he was the line's chief designer[2] and Disney Cruise Line[3], many of which are now standard features.
In 2001, Royal Caribbean published Eide's book, "Elegance at Sea : The Art and Architecture of Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises" which featured his work for the company.
