Dr. Nkeng Stephens (born on the 31st of May 1994) is a multi-award winning Cameroon video director, cinematographer, music producer, and filmmaker.[1] He is the founder of Cameroon Phase of Entertainment Limited, a production company that specializes in the production of video content. He is popularly known for his slogan "we take another shot" used in the music videos he directs and produces.[2] Stephens has directed music videos for artists such as Daphne, Magasco, Salatiel, Mr._Leo, Kameni, Diamond_Platnumz, Revolution, Master_KG, Fally Ipupa, Toofan, Master KG etc.
Life and career
Dr. Nkeng Stephens got married in a private ceremony on the 17th of December 2017.[3] Nkeng Stephens started off in the entertainment industry as a rapper and songwriter under DECOBRA House in the late 2000s in a city called Buea.[4] He realized that the songs he was making needed videos and decided to start video production since he could not afford a video director. He excelled in video directing and production because of the high demand and the affordable prices he offered in his community. He then dropped his rap career to become a professional video director. Achievements
Dr. Nkeng Stephens has produced about 1000 music videos between 2013 and 2022 for artists such as Mr._Leo, Daphne, Magasco, Stanley_Enow, Diamond_Platnumz, etc. Nkeng Stephens signed a multi-million CFA brand ambassadorship deal with Johny Walker in Cameroon in 2021.[6] Stephens recently directed his first movie called "L'axelourd," programmed to come out in 2023.[7]
