No Honor is a comic book miniseries published by Top Cow along with Image Comics.

Since 2003, there have been plans by creator Fiona Avery to work with Showtime Network to adapt the title into a television series. However, not much else has been confirmed or announced.[1]

Publication history

No Honor is a four-issue miniseries which was published from March to June in 2001. The first issue was also printed with two additional alternate covers. The miniseries was written by comic writer Fiona Avery, penciled by Clayton Crain, inked by Jonathan Glapton, and colored by Matt Nelson.[2]

Plot

Random is a jewel and art thief who attempts to steal an ancient katana from the Guggenheim museum. While closely examining the blade, the thief accidentally cuts himself, which creates a unique connection with the soul of a long-dead samurai named Tannen Yojimbo, who is the true owner of the blade. The connection allows the samurai to periodically possess and control Random's body, as well as converse with the thief by way of thought. Now gaining the attention of the law, a mysterious woman, and other thieves, Random and Tannen must tolerate each other in order to find the answers they both seek.
