Noah William Denoyer (born February 17, 1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent.
Career
Denoyer played college baseball at San Joaquin Delta College. He signed with the Baltimore Orioles as an undrafted free agent on August 5, 2019.[1] In his first professional season, he posted a 4.50 ERA across 3 appearances for the rookie–level Gulf Coast League Orioles. Denoyer did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[2]
After the 2022 season, he played in the Arizona Fall League.[3]
On November 15, 2022, the Orioles added Denoyer to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.[4] Denoyer was optioned to the Triple-A Norfolk Tides to begin the 2023 season.[5] On June 13, 2023, Denoyer was designated for assignment by Baltimore following the promotion of Mark Kolozsvary.[6] He cleared waivers and was sent outright to Norfolk on June 20.[7] In 25 appearances for Norfolk, Denoyer struggled to a 5.61 ERA with 63 strikeouts in 51 1⁄3 innings pitched. On September 15, it was announced that Denoyer had undergone Tommy John surgery, ending his 2023 season and likely ruling him out for the 2024 season as well.[8]
Denoyer was released by the Orioles organization on March 23, 2025.[9]
