Grew up in a Kampong (village) in Singapore in the early 60s,everthing had to be built on your own, the house, toys, table and anything my mom needed. His dad was a great inspiration for that. At young aged he was forced to innovate and with a 'never-give-up' attitude, even after short-circuiting his entire church during bible study.

He worked in shipbuilding, oil & gas, photography, video production and was a DJ/Emcee in the 80s. He started an event management company. Working many many hours without sleep put an end to that. So basically, He got his experienced in a few other skills, before going back to his roots in engineering and started The Shelter Company in 2001.

Build the largest permanent free span enclosed membrane structure in Singapore in 2003. It's in NTUC Pasir Ris - Singapore (you can see it on Google Earth). Have since worked on some major semi-permananent and temporary projects in Singapore and have since started work on projects in Middles East.

He invented and patented Tubelar modular structure system. (www.tubelar.com). He is industrial designer and innovator with multiple patent pending products. Loves to work on temporary or permanent modular pop-up designs including homes. He is also specialized in aluminum extrusions, from design to productization.
