Noam Ash
Noam Ash is an award-winning American actor, writer, and producer.[1]. He is known for his work on HBO Max's The Other Two[2], for creating and starring in the webseries My Gay Roommate[3], and for writing and starring in the 2026 film Bookends, opposite Academy Award Winner F. Murray Abraham, Caroline Aaron, and Charlie Barnett.
Early life and Career
Ash graduated from Tufts University and the National Theater Institute[4].
While still earning his degree in drama and political science, Ash created and launched his webseries, My Gay Roommate, which went on to amass an audience of millions[5].
Ash worked opposite Drew Tarver, Gideon Glick, and Noah Galvin on the second season of HBO Max's The Other Two[2].
In 2026, Ash wrote and starred in the dramatic comedy Bookends, directed by Mike Doyle[6]. The film premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 9, 2026[7], where it won the festival's prestigious Stand Up Award[8]. Ash has stated that the film is inspired on his own experiences living with his Holocaust-era grandparents[9].
