Noam Bettan (Hebrew: נועם בתן; born March 6, 1998), is an Israeli-French singer-songwriter.[1][2] Bettan began his career in 2017, when he released his debut single "Hofshi".
Life[edit]
Bettan was born in Ra'anana on March 6, 1998, to an immigrant family of French Israeli[3] descent.[4] After completing his military service in the ranks of the IDF, He also participated in the annual Friends of the Israel Defense Forces festival held in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park.
Carrer[edit]
He began his musical career; in 2018[5], he participated in the reality show "Aviv o Eyal", ranked to the final and came in third place.[6]
In 2021, Bettan began working on his debut album, מעל המים, and released its first single, "בעיר שלי", which was very successful on streaming networks. That same year he released the singles "בעיר שלי" and "K.O (נוקאאוט)", which were also successful.[7]
On December 18, 2022, she released her sixth single "Doll" as part of her debut album, "Ma'al Hamim." The song was written by Batan along with Guy Kopelman and Yuval Maayan and produced by Kopelman.[8][9][10][11] The song performed well on streaming services and social media. Ranked on Spotify Israel weekly chart, the song entered at number 183 with approximately 36,811 plays on January 12, 2023. After the release of the album "Ma'al Hamim", the song peaked at number 41 on March 30, 2023 with approximately 84,754 plays in that week.[12] On Galgalat, the song reached third place on the list.[13][14]
On March 12, 2023, he released his first album Above the Water is the album in collaboration with Zahav Music and D-Music.[15]
The album includes songs in Hebrew and one song in French. The creators Stav Nahmias, Dolly Vefen, Ben Chopin, Guy Kopelman and Yuval Maayan participated in its production. The album produced the singles "Love for a Day", "In My City", "KO (Knockout)", "Highway", "Today" and "Boba".[16] The latter was a success and reached third place in the official Galgalat parade.[17] The album reached number 21 on the Israeli album chart on the Spotify platform.[18]
