NodeBB
NodeBB is an open source internet forum software that is built on Node.js and uses either MongoDB or Redis.:[1]
This software is a product of NodeBB Inc., a web application and software development company founded by three developers in Toronto, Canada in 2014, and is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL-3).[2] Its version 1.7.0 features a great performance improvement that is 83% faster on cold load and 68% faster on existing page transitions versus version 1.6.1[3]. Some notable users of NodeBB include Bethesda, Notepad++ and Focus Home Interactive.[4]
