Noema is a magazine that aims to “explore the transformations sweeping our world.” It publishes essays, interviews, reportage, videos and art on the overlapping realms of philosophy, governance, geopolitics, economics, technology and culture. It is published online and in print by the Berggruen Institute. Noema has featured authors such as Yuval Harari, Joe Stiglitz and Elif Shafak.[1][2][3].

History

Noema launched in 2020 and grew out of a previous publication called The WorldPost, which was first a partnership with HuffPost and later with The Washington Post. Its publisher, the Berggruen Institute, was founded by Nicolas Berggruen and Nathan Gardels in 2010.

Editors

Nathan Gardels is the editor in chief[4] and Kathleen Miles is the executive editor[5].
