Nogrid points is a meshfree Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software product.
Features[edit]
NOGRID points software is based on the meshless Finite Pointset Method (FPM). Classical numerical methods like Finite Volume Method (FVM) or Finite element method (FEM) need a mesh to discretize the computational domain. In case of computing large deformations or if moving parts or boundaries need to be considered mesh generation can be an issue. Since the finite pointset points can move freely, difficult mesh generation can be avoided and moving the mesh becomes simpler. [1] [2] [3] [4]
