Noha Nabil
Noha Nabil S Mohammad (born November 11, 1983) is a Kuwaiti journalist, media personality and poet. Considered to be the most active and prominent figures of social media, she is listed by Forbes among Top 10 Most Influential Women in Arab World.[1][2] She made her first appearance in the world of media at a young age of nine, as a presenter of children's program in Kuwait Radio and Television. She was then nominated for the title of the "Best Presenter of Children's Program" at the Cairo International Film Festival in the year 2000.
Nabil continued developing recognition over the years by engaging in poetic evenings as a Nabati poetess since 2003 at Salalah Khareef Festival [3], Ayam Al Bahrain Festival, Hala February Festival in Kuwait, Dubai Summer Festival. She has presented several youth talk programs over different GCC channels such as Al Rai, Saudi Rotana, Dubai TV, Al Watan and Abu Dhabi TV. She retired from her media work after her marriage to fellow engineer, Dr. Ebrahim in December 2008 and moved to USA. However, in the year 2009, her love of fashion lead her to creating her personal blog where she shared her style with the world. [4] There was no turning back, as people loved her fashion choices and she was already famous in the middle east before she returned. Her Instagram and Snapchat accounts were the first to be verified and she is the only Kuwaiti influencer to have 16 Million followers across these platforms.
Early Life:
Was born on November 11, 1983 in the State of Kuwait. She has a younger sister Nouf Nabil, who is also a fashion and lifestyle blogger and often appear alongside Noha. [5] Her grandfather to her mother is Sheikh Habib Al-Quraini from whom she inherited the love and art of poetry. Since the age of nine, she was exploring and challenging her potential abilities through media and poetry alongside completing her education in the field of Science. Nabil earned her Chemical Engineer degree from Kuwait University in the year 2005. She perused a career in the media industry by hosting versatile Radio and Television programs across different channels.
Career:
Beginnings (1992–2000)
From an early age, she wanted to be an artist as she made her first media appearance at the age of nine as a presenter in the show called "Mama Anisa[6]" by Kuwait Television. She attracted rapid attention due to her intellectual and intuitive ability to read and deliver poetry. As a result, in 1995 she became the youngest on screen anchor in Kids TV by Kuwait Television until its withdrawal in 2000 as it was transitioned to provide youth programs.
(2003–2005)
Nabil's dedication to poetry was groomed since early childhood as her grandfather to her mother is Sheikh Habib Al-Quraini who published a lot of books and literary work. She took part in the middle school creative poetry competitions and won consecutively for two years. She published her first poem through different magazines in 2004 and became the talk of media and press as the youngest poet at that time. Her writing was characterized by simplicity, uniqueness, and novelty. She was honored in many cultural and poetry festivals around the Arabian gulf as the best popular poet of the time.
Noha Nabil was also among the first broadcasters to join Al-Rai TV when it launched in the year 2004[7] alongside other popular celebrities such as Hessa Al Mullah, Faisal Al-Duwaisan, Bassam Al-Othman. Before it goes live, she trained the young broadcasters of the program "رأيكم شباب" (Your Opinion of Youth) which dealt with many social topics aimed at Kuwaiti youth. Her work with Al-Rai TV lasted for a year during which she hosted other successful programs such as Art & Family, and Eid nights. In 2005, she decided to leave Al-Rai TV as she got an offer from Dubai TV to anchor "نجم الخليج" (Gulf Star).[8] The concept of the series involves discovering recording stars from unsigned singing talents.
Breakthrough with Social Media (2013–present)
After her disappearance from limelight from over 5 years, Nabil returned to the spotlight again in 2009, through her personal fashion and styling blog "See Fashion in My Eyes." Noha wanted her blog to be exclusively about fashion and all trendy items in her closet or on its way to it.[9] It was well received both in United States as well as her Middle East fans. The blog paved her way to document her daily life activities as a wife, mother and fashion blogger over other social media channels such as YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. Her followers on Instagram reached one million during its first year, and was flooded with offers from clothing and fashion companies to advertise their brand via various platforms.
Nabil returned She was invited to visit the head office of Snapchat and Facebook. In the year 2017, she received Gold medal from Snapchat to be the first Arab on this platform. [10]She was the first Kuwaiti woman to have blue varified mark on Snapchat and Instagram.
Endorsements
Noha Nabil is one of the most prominent personalities that International brands and companies have been keen to collaborate. Not only does she promote national and Middle Eastern brands, she's been approached by well known luxury brands for advertisement and endorsements over the years. A special collaboration invite by Messika Jewelry made her to be the first woman from Kuwait to attend the Cannes Film Festival. Similarly, Nabil walked the red carpet of Venice Film Festival with a special invitation from Jaeger-LeCoultre for two consecutive years. The French brand "Bourjois Paris" launched Noha's own exclusive collection of makeup as the first of its kind since the birth of the brand in 1862. [11][12] Noha's elegance and glamour embody the power and femininity of Versace's fine-jewelry collections as she shot their exclusive campaign in Ramadan 2019. [13][14] Other luxury fashion brands she have collaborated with includes Givenchy, Fendi, Armani.
Swarovski's Creative Director Nathalie Coin admiration of Nabil's empowering self-confidence, radiant beauty and polished sense of style, desired her to be the first brand ambassador of Swarovski in the Middle East as she perfectly fits the essence of the brand. She regarded her as an embodiment of “the sophistication of the modern woman”. She added “I am particularly admirative of Noha’s brilliant ability to speak authentically with her heart and therefore to connect instantly with people.”[15]
She was the face of Riva FashionRamadan 2018 campaign. Dettol Arabia proudly announced Nabil, a mother and lifestyle influencer, as the ambassador of the brand in 2018.[16] Ibraheem Al Qurashi perfumes launched exclusive perfumes collection with the lifestyle and beauty blogger for three consecutive years, 2016, 2017, and 2018 respectively.
Social and Humanitarian work
Noha visited and supported the issues of Syrian refugese in the camps of Lebanon in cooperation United Nations and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in 2017. She launched "Two-Dinar campaign" through her social media channels to support education by building schools and laboratories in Somalia, Sudan and Ethiopia. She also organized a huge campaign for "Khadija" aimed at sending her abroad for the treatment of an unknown virus that affected her. Ministry of Health responded to the campaign and Khadija was sent to American Hospital in Beirut for treatment, but passed away there.
Nabil continues to support small business owners and startups from all over the Gulf by posting free ads on her social media. Additionally, she pursues women to claim their right to education, housing and social and political rights. She helps provides job opportunities to people in the fields of marketing, media and photography.

Personal Life
Poetry
Noha Nabil is fond of Nabati poetry. She published her first poem through different magazines in 2004 and became the highlight of media. Over the years she was invited to several poetic evenings and prominent cultural festivals. She published a single Diwan in 2015 titled "ملح الشعر (Salt of Poetry)" in which she collected the most famous poems such as "أمانه يا حمد (Amana Ya Hamad)", "السكسوكه (Saksokeh)" "حلم الطفوله (Dream of childhood) and others.
Marriage & Family
Nabil married fellow engineer Dr. Ebrahim Al Ali in the year 2008, and then decided to retire entirely and devote to her family. In 2009, Noha gave birth to her first child "Mohammed"[22] Later that year, she accompanied her small family of three and moved to United States to obtain a master's degree and doctorate. She was asked about her disappearance from the limelight in an interview for which she said "I am fortunate that I married a successful man, we agreed from the beginning together and we gave up in order to continue our lives beautifully, and devote to Mohammed and our daughter Dana, the two of our most precious things now. She added "being away from limelight and media is not worth anything in exchange for stability with my husband and children" [23] They now have three children together. She gave birth to her youngest child "Yaqoob" in the year 2014.
Upon asking about her success in a short span of time Noha Nabil explained that she did not expect to reach this fame through social media. She thinks expressing topics of interest in a comical way, contributed to increase her number of followers in a short period, stressing that the real pleasure lies in the ability to convert her hobby into “Business”. “My message is that women should know that they can do anything even if they are married and have children,” Nabil said in an interview with Emirates News. “I try to break the traditional and stereotypical rule of the mother. Which prevents them from achieving their goals.”[24]
