Noise In Your Eye

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Noise in Your Eye is an experimental music duo formed by Adrian Chivers and Daniel Pennie in 2007.[1][2] Noise in Your Eye first came to the attention of international experimental music listeners, thanks to the alliance with the original King Crimson drummer Michael Giles. All three formed the MAD Band (Michael Adrian & Dan) together in 2009 and went on to play concerts both in the UK and Europe. They released two albums, ‘The Adventures Of’ (2009) and ‘In The Moment [3] - with Keith Tippett’ (2011) to considerable critical acclaim before the MAD band split in 2012. During this time AD and Dan had set a different course to the Michael Giles MAD Band,[4] their stated intent was to perform improvised music with electronics and elements of composition as ‘active and equal’ components. They have been working on the NIYE project ever since.
