Non-Douchey Design - NDD

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Non-Douchey Design (NDD) is an ethical design theory in software development that focuses on minimizing the amount of data an application consumes from and collects on the user as well as maximizing the transparency of the data it collects, esp. in mobile applications.

A mobile application that was created with the intent of user data collection but masquerades as something else would not be following Non-Douchey Design.

Most current mobile applications do not follow NDD.
