Suwin (born 2009), better known as Nong Pee, an ethnic Mon, became a star after he demonstrated his extraordinary kicking skills in a Thai television variety show, Super 10, which aired on January 7, 2017. A video clip, showing him kicking a ball to hit the crossbar three times in a row, has attracted more than nine million views.[1][2]
Leicester City F.C., owned by Thai billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, has offered to support Nong Pee's education and training to become a professional footballer.
A left-footer, whose idol is Barcelona striker Lionel Messi, Nong Pee currently trains at the Inter Thailand Academy and wants to play for Thai national team even though he is not a Thai nationality.
