Lieutenant General TNI (Mar) (Ret.) Dr. Nono Sampono, S.Pi., M.Sc. (born 1 March 1953 in Bangkalan) is an Indonesian military figure and also the former head of the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency.

He grew up with his adoptive father Idris Sampono, who is his uncle. While his father comes from Madura, his mother hails from Maluku. Nono continued in studying at the Faculty of Engineering, Pattimura University. However, after only a year there, Sampono, decided to stop studying and entered the Naval Academy in 1972.[1]

From 2014 to 2019 he was member of the Regional Representative Council for the electoral district of Maluku. He came in 6th in the election in 2024, but requested the annulment of the result through his lawyer Vidi Galenso Syarief at the Constitutional Court of Indonesia.[2]

Sampono is president director of PT Kapuk Naga Indah, a subsidiary of Agung Sedayu Group. In 2016, he questioned as a witness for the suspect Muhamad Sanusi regarding the bribery case of the Jakarta Bay Reclamation Draft Regional Regulation.[3]

In 2012, he ran for vice-governor of Jakarta with Alex Noerdin, but received the lowest votes among six candidates.[4]

According to Lhkpn, he has a net worth of 36 billion Rupiah as of 2022.[5]
