Norman Cutler
Norman Cutler (born 10 May 1949) is an American professor of Tamil literature. He has done research in classical Tamil literature and medieval Tamil literature at the University of Chicago.[1] He studied Tamil under A.K. Ramanujam, who was a professor at the University of Chicago. He died on 24 February 2002 at the age of 53.[2]
The first biennial Norman Cutler conference on South Asian literature held by the University of Chicago in 2007[3][1] was named after him.
