Norsepower

Norsepower is a Finnish company founded in 2012, specializing in the design and manufacturing of rotor sails; wind propulsion devices for large ships.
Its proprietary product is the Norsepower Rotor Sail™ which is based on technologies invented by Finnish engineer Sigurd Savonius and later demonstrated by Anton Flettner in an Atlantic crossing that took place in 1926.
In 2021, Norsepower designed and installed the world's first tilting rotor sails.
