NorthBay VacaValley Hospitalis part of the non-profit NorthBay Healthcare system that serves Solano County. Located in Vacaville, California, it is a 50-bed hospital and is a sister facility to NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield California, voted the area’s best hospital by local newspaper readers in 2019.[1]

History[edit]

Among the many unique programs offered for a facility of this size, is a joint replacement program [2] [3] [4], and the city’s only comprehensive cancer center[5] [6][7], an outpatient surgery center[8], and the community’s only medically-integrated fitness center. [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] In May 2016, the hospital and health care system became the only Northern California provider in the Mayo Clinic Care Network. [15] [16] [17] [18] [19] It also carries a Magnet designation for nursing.[20]
