North Carolina dromaeosaurid

The North Carolina Dromaeosaurid is a large nnnamed Dromaeosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Campanian stage druing Cretaceous. It was found in the Tar Heel Formation of North Carolina in July of 2018. The teeth have been identified as a new genus thanks to differing morphology of its teeth. It also fills in the gap between giant Dromaeosaurids and smaller ones.[1] [2] The dinosaur lived at a time North Carolina was part of the island Appalachia. It was described by Chase Brownstein of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center.
