Malaysia

The deep seismic waves travelled across the Strait of Malacca, causing noticeable along the west coast of Malaysia. Residents in Penang reported lightheaded and witnessed high building swaying. The Penang Fire and Rescue Department confirmed multiple distress calls from citizens, though no injuries or structural failures have been reported.[2]
