Northern Valley Youth Orchestras

Northern Valley Youth Orchestras is a youth orchestra training program based in Grand Forks, North Dakota. NVYO serves young musicians in a 75-mile radius of the Grand Forks community.

Founded in 2011, NVYO presently runs three orchestras, a chamber music program, and a summer day camp.[1] Additional events are presented throughout the season including pops concerts, fundraisers,[2] and collaborative performances.

Orchestras[edit]

  • Allegro, a non-auditioned string orchestra
  • Philharmonic, an intermediate level full orchestra
  • Symphony, a full orchestra for advancing musicians, which rehearses at the University of North Dakota
