Nostos VR game
Brief Introduction
Nostos is an open-world VR game created by NetEase.[1] Nostos has a real physical environment, giant and seamless world map, freely moving system and oriental animated film art style .[2]
Players will play the role of explorer in Nostos to adventure, combat, build up and save the world with their partners. This game has a variety of terrains, miraculous ecological communities and meteorological system, special doomsday costumes, as well as realistic combat experience.[3]
It is expected to be purchased in the STEAM VR, HTC VIVEPORT and OCULUS STORE.[4]
Gameplay
In Nostos, the player is a survivor who leads her village to fight against the mysterious and desolate living environment.
In this apocalypse, technology has disappeared for thousands of years. Poisonous dynamic forests –“Coralseas“ keep expanding and encroaching the living space of remaining humanity. The player wakes up in a village lacking supplies and technologies.[5] Oppression of the harsh climate, mutant creatures and mystic swarms leaves this village on the verge of collapse. And the player becomes the hope of this village as she can use ancient technology. The player would take responsibility to explore the outside world, protect and manage this village, exploit resources, build up new villages and find out the reason for the collapse of civilization, so as to chase opportunities for the rejuvenation of human being.[6]
