Nothing Bundt Cakes is an American chain of bakery stores based in Addison, Texas which is known for making small bundt cakes. The company was founded in 1997, and as of 2023 has over 500 outlets in the US and Canada.[4] The chain operates primarily through a franchise model.
History
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in 1997 in Las Vegas by two women, Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz.[5]
The chain was reportedly sold in 2026 to private equity firm KKR, for around US$2 billion.[6][7]
Products
The cakes are usually topped with a cream cheese frosting.[8][9]
Locations and operations
The first bakery opened in Las Vegas in 1997. Since then, the company has expanded throughout the United States and Canada through franchised retail locations. As of 2023, the chain operates more than 500 bakeries.
In 2024, they opened their 600th store in Tampa, Florida.[10][11]
