Nottingham Student Television (abbreviated NSTV) is a Student television station operating inside the University of Nottingham Students' Union.[1][2] as part of the Students' Union Media Zone[3]. NSTV has a Television studio located in the Portland Building at the University of Nottingham[2]. NSTV is a member of the National Student Television Association (NaSTA), it was the recipient of the NaSTA Best Broadcaster award in 2020[4]

History[edit]

Founded as the Nottingham University Television Station (abbreviated NUTS) in 2008.[5], the station produced a selection of original content for it's Culture, Sports, Entertainment and News & Features channels[1]

In 2014, NUTS rebranded to the current station name of NSTV, aimed to increase the professionalism of the stations output.[5][6]
